Zenbusiness Banking

I redesigned the check deposit flow to create a more seamless and intuitive user experience. The original concept was communicated through static frames, which made it difficult for developers and stakeholders to fully envision how the process should feel in practice.

To bridge this gap, I created an interactive storytelling prototype that demonstrated not only the step-by-step flow, but also the motion, transitions, and micro-interactions that bring the experience to life. By adding subtle, delightful moments throughout the capture process, I was able to showcase how the flow could feel natural, reassuring, and efficient for users.

This prototype helped the team make informed decisions, aligning design, product, and engineering around a clear vision of the feature—ultimately driving a smoother development process and a better customer experience.

Below are the initial screens the team produced for the check capture flow. While they outlined the basic steps, the challenge was that they lacked visual explanation and clarity on the transitions—leaving it difficult for stakeholders and developers to fully understand how the experience should feel in motion.

To address this, I expanded the flow by introducing new features and carefully defined transition points at specific moments in the process. These additions provided context for how users move from one state to another, ensuring that the experience felt smooth, intuitive, and trustworthy. By embedding motion cues and subtle design details, I was able to transform a static set of screens into a dynamic, end-to-end interaction model that communicated intent clearly across the team.
