Windows Brand and Logo

As Windows moved toward a modern, tile-based experience, my motion studies and tile-system explorations helped inform the brand’s visual evolution. The four segmented panels echoed the structure of the tile system, while the angled perspective reflected the dimensional movement used in the Windows application launcher.

Together, these elements created a visual connection between the Windows identity and the experience inside the product. It demonstrated how brand, motion, and interaction could share the same design language and function as one cohesive system. vision.

From Product Language to Brand Identity

These interface and motion show the design language behind the brand’s evolution. The use of tiles, segmented forms, perspective, and dimensional movement created a recognizable visual system within Windows—one that eventually extended beyond the interface and helped shape the identity of the brand itself.
