HomeAway (VRBO) — Luxury North Star Experience

This North Star concept visualized a more elevated booking experience for HomeAway’s luxury properties. The motion language was designed to feel composed and effortless, using carefully shaped easing curves, gradual acceleration, and soft deceleration to let each element glide into place and settle naturally.

Longer transitions, subtle changes in scale and depth, and restrained movements created a graceful rhythm while guiding attention through the booking experience. Together, these details expressed luxury through behavior—not only through how the interface looked, but through how it moved and responded.
